Value of Items
Quick question: How can you tell the value of a gold item you picked up if you new to the game. Basically if I do find something valuable I wanna make sure I sell it for its fair value, what is the best way of doing this?
Thanks guys. |

Merchant value for most rare items, or market value for a max damage with great mods?
If first ... go see merchant or use ID kit. If second .... check these forums as there are guides to pricing different items with different mods. There is also a price check thread in these forums. http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/f...splay.php?f=39 |

Learn the MAX for Mod values. 5:1 bow string, 10/10 sundering...ect. If you come across one of these, attempt to salvage it or keep it on the item and add another great mod to it for a sale. If your new to the game, chances are you won't be getting one of these rare mods very soon. Other thing to watch out for are Gold items w/ rare skins. Ex. Dwarven Axes. Even less than perfect can still sell for a lot.

Other mods worth even more than prefix/suffix mods is inherent mods. Like 15^50, 15% always, 15% enchanted, 15% stance, or w/e. Also Req. is a factor for many.
